Klondike Solitaire

Frequently asked questions

Is it free?
Yes — Klondike is completely free to play, with no download and no signup. Unlimited undo, hints and full-screen are all included.
How do I win Klondike?
Move all fifty-two cards to the four foundations, each built upward by suit from Ace to King. When every foundation is complete, the game is won.
What is the difference between one-card and three-card draw?
One-card draw turns a single card from the stock each time and is more forgiving; three-card draw turns three at once, so you must plan around the cards beneath and it plays as the sterner test.
Can I play on mobile?
Yes — the game runs in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers, with no app to install.
Is every deal winnable?
Most Klondike deals can be won with good play, but not all — some shuffles are genuinely unsolvable. If a deal stalls with no moves left, simply deal a fresh game.

Spider Solitaire

Frequently asked questions

How do I win Spider Solitaire?
Assemble all eight complete same-suit runs from King down to Ace. Each finished run is removed from the board, and clearing all eight wins the game.
Why can't I deal new cards?
Spider will not deal a fresh row from the stock while any column is empty. Move a card into every empty column first, then the deal becomes available.
Is one-suit Spider easier than four-suit?
Considerably. In one-suit Spider every card is the same suit, so any descending sequence counts as a suited run; the four-suit game demands you manage all four suits at once and is the sterner test.
Can I move several cards at once?
Yes — a sequence that is already in the same suit and in order may be moved as a single unit. A mixed-suit run must be moved one card at a time.
Is Spider Solitaire free?
Yes — Spider is completely free to play here, with no download and no signup, and unlimited undo, hints and full-screen included.

FreeCell Solitaire

Frequently asked questions

Are all FreeCell Solitaire deals winnable?
Very nearly all of them. Because every card is visible and four free cells give you room to manoeuvre, the vast majority of deals can be solved with careful play — only a rare few are genuinely impossible.
What are the free cells for?
Each of the four free cells holds one card as a temporary reserve, letting you lift an awkward card out of the way to reach what lies beneath. Emptying them again as soon as you can is a key to winning.
How many cards can I move at once?
Officially one, but free cells and empty columns effectively let you move a run: the more cells and empty columns you have free, the longer the sequence you can shift in a single motion.
How do I win FreeCell?
Build all four foundations upward by suit from Ace to King. When every card has reached its foundation, the deal is won.
Is FreeCell Solitaire free?
Yes — FreeCell is free to play here, with no download and no signup, and unlimited undo, hints and full-screen all included.
